Our agreement to publish your work is contingent upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth below.

  1. Compensation. As full and complete compensation for the rights granted herein, we will provide you with two complimentary copies of the book in which your work appears.
  2. Grant of Rights. You hereby grant to the Publisher the following rights in your submission: First Serial Rights or Reprint Rights. If your work is a reprint, please indicate where it has been published.
  3. Right to Edit. It is understood and agreed that the Publisher reserves the absolute right to make such editorial changes, cuts, and additions as it deems necessary or appropriate in its sole discretion, including the right to reject any portion of a manuscript, change the title and substitute new material prepared by the Publisher or its editorial staff.
  4. Author’s Representations and Warranties. You represent and warrant that:
    1. your manuscript is your original work;
    2. you have identified any previously copyrighted material incorporated in your work, have obtained any necessary permissions, approvals, or releases for same in writing, and will provide copies of those documents upon our request;
    3. nothing contained in your work is obscene, false, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful;
    4. nothing contained in your work invades any right of privacy or publicity of any third party and you have obtained written releases from any identifiable subject in any photographs;
    5. nothing contained in your work infringes any copyright or other proprietary right of any third party;
    6. you have used all reasonable care in the creation, research, and preparation of your submission to ensure that all facts and statements in it are true and correct in all material respects; and
    7. no instruction, formula, direction, recipe, prescription, or other matter contained in your submission will cause injury or damage.
  5. Indemnification. Author agrees to indemnify and hold Inspire Christian Writers harmless from any claim or expense incurred, including reasonable attorney fees, as a result of a breach of these covenants and warranties.
  6. Governing Law. This agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be commenced in the courts of Sacramento County of the State Of California.
